1. The UMass Boer Goat Herd is a student run group where officers are elected each year by their student peers. Dr. Mark Huyler, a nutrition professor at UMass, is the faculty advisor for the Goat Group. Students who participate in goat group will have the opportunity to learn the ins and outs of goat management, learn how to draw blood, give injections, show, clip, deworm and assist in kidding.
